In December and January I have been concerned with the following tasks: Continued development of TCP game tasks from 6 different topics (the same as for OIE):
Updated the corpus (i.e. correction of obvious errors in the corpus files) Altered Perl scripts (for corpus search) after new server installed at the University Checked all exercises/tasks after updating the scripts Published (with Hilde Hasselgård) article on Oslo Interactive English, TCP mentioned. (pdf format) Gave talk on Oslo Interactive English at the Symposium in Gothenburg on "Corpora in Language Teaching". (TCP referred to as OIE's sister project, but not demonstrated.) |

Created a single text file for questions / tasks Developed and settled for a frames page integrating TCP game and Corpus search page (see Progress Report, September 2005) Created TCP cake images in Photoshop, including Image Ready coordinates Developed PHP script to handle questions and answers
Prepared talk on Oslo Interactive English for Symposium in Gothenburg on "Corpora in Language Teaching". (TCP referred to as OIE's sister project, but not demonstrated.) |
