Identify the eight "funny" collocations in the sentences below and replace them with a more appropriate collocation (in each case it is only necessary to change one word). The word that contributes to a non-natural collocation is typically a synonym or near-synonym of the missing (more appropriate) word.

Remember that you may introduce new errors if you add or delete letters or spaces that have nothing to do with the exercise; e.g. if you accidentally delete the "t" in "the" it will count as an error.
