Introduction:

The exercises below focus on various aspects relating to vocabulary, i.e. the words contained in a language. This is a vast area in any language, and English is no exception. The exercises are both concerned with words that typically go together (collocations), words that are easily confused, and spelling. All are important if the aim is to improve your skills.

Aims:

The exercises aim to make you familiar with particular uses of words and spellings. By practicing certain vocabulary-related issues, you will become more confident in using these words and also become aware of what difficulties you may encounter.
